This episode features a live recording of Rab retelling a Medieval LGBT sex comedy that includes the tale of an Inishbofin monk kidnapped by Sky Demons. Rab came across the story as he and Kerry were researching the next part of The Wicked Skull Thief of Inishbofin. Kerry and Rab also discuss the background to the medieval tale, and how it was cancelled by the newly independent Irish state.

Hello Celtic Callers!! Coming to you live from Kerry's bedroom, we have two short story excerpts, first created by Kerry waaaay back in 2019 (and edited since!).
First is Kerry's take on the mythical Byronic hero in a modern world (aka f*ckboy alert!) and then her take on the idea of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl (Rab is more of a Manic Goblin Nightmare Girl, tbh).
The full stories can be read at TheKerryGraham on substack. Enjoy!

In this first episode of The Celtic Tales Chronicles, Kerry and Rab take a deep dive into a sacrilegious true crime that took place in Inishbofin in 1890. It's a fascinating story, but just to let you know some of the themes covered may be a little heavy for some listeners.
Please note, this episode was recorded via zoom as Rab was ill, as you will hear from his voice.
